Something's missing ... an installation at the Fly window gallery, 1172 Queen St. W., Toronto until Jan. 1, 2003 viewable from about 9 am to about midnight.

A girl shivers in front of a mirror in which we see ourselves watching her.

Beside the girl is a town. Through the gaps between the buildings we see the flickering static of bad tv. The scenario repeats - more kids - more towns - more bad tv. The mirrors, tvs and interference, all interwoven spaces, confuse orientation and responsibility.

What's wrong with our city?

Why can't we get things right?

To my delight this installation looks far more demented than I expected.
