Judith Lermer Crawley reimagines labour as performance and performance as sculpture within a sculpture. By documenting the dismantling of a print installation, the out of context gestures have the mystery and strangeness of a tableau vivant but also have the honesty and purpose that arises from their origins in real work. A performed non-performance.
